SEA-Teacher Project #3. Move to Mengrai Maharat Wittayakom School.

As what i have been telling you at the previous story of this blog, there program will leads me to teach. So, during this program, i will spent more of my time at school (not at CRRU). The school's stuff who will have a responsibility on us pick us at CRRU to the school. But before we go to our school, Mr.T gave an instruction to the school’s coordinator, also continued with the speech from the president of CRRU.

The school's stuff (Kru Jane and Kru Waewta) bring us to the school which actually is less than 10 minutes by car from CRRU. On our way, the explained us that Kru Jane are from English Department (Dina’s Department) and Kru Waewta are from Mathematics Department of the school (mine). Our house is inside the school (it’s kinda like teacher’s house), we even just have to walk to reach the classroom, and the teacher’s room. The gave us a room for two-with two beds, a sofa, and one table. Inside the house, there also one toilet, dining room, and a kitchen. There are refrigerator inside the house, a microwave, 2 ricecooker, an electric stove, washtafel, and also A WASHING MACHINE. The shower-heater are works, and the bought us a new eating utensils. It will really helps us for the next 3weeks ahead.
The name of the school where i be placed is Mengrai Maharat Wittayakom School. Its is located in Nang Lae, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai 57100. It is one of the secondary school here in Mengrai.

The student here in mengrai school are having a ceremony everyday (5times a week). Also, the school will welcoming us after the ceremony- which will begin on 07.50. They welcoming us by introducing us to all of the people in the school (The teacher, student, and other staff) after the ceremony. The director of the school gave us a flowers, and we have to speech in front of the students and teachers. At the moment, i have an opportunity to spoke in front of the students and teachers. I said thanks to the school, explain our purpose in this project, and suggest the students to ask anything about Indonesia to us because its time to sharing each others.

SEA-Teacher Project #11: Teaching Practice in Mathayom 1 Mengraimaharaj Witthayakom School.

Teaching Practice Me: teaching. Actually, i already get used to teach these student at the teaching Assistant before the Final Teaching Weeks, but not taking the class from the begining 'till the end of it. I plan to teach in Mathayom 1 (From 1/1 to 1/6), about the Properties of Linear Equation. I will tell you the Teaching Procedure of Mine: First, i make sure that all the student is ready to accept the subject that i will teach, i let them prepare and ask them whether they are ready to learn or not, this prepration takes 1-2 minues because they are all polit and so easy to tell. After that i start to explain the concept of the Properties of Linear Equation (you can take a look at the previous blog about the teaching plan if you want to know about the properties as well), this is the main activity of my teaching and takes around 20 minutes for the concept explanation. SEA-Teacher Project: #13. Interesting Place in Chiang Rai Part 3

Chiang Rai, 11 February 2018. Our buddy from CRRU promise to bring us walk to see the famous white temple of Chiang Rai. The promise to come at 1 but ended up come at 2:(WKWKWKW  Wat Rong Khun is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun. The white color signifies the purity of the Buddha, while the glass  symbolizes  the Buddha’s wisdom and the Dhamma, the Buddhist teachings. The Wat Rong Khun was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous Thai visual artist. To date the temple is not finished. Eventually there will be nine buildings including an ubosot, a hall to enshrine Buddhist relics, a meditation hall, the monks living quarters and an art gallery.
