Interesting Place in Chiang Rai

Part 1.

1. Blue Temple. Blue temple is famously called as Wat Rong Suea Ten (วัดร่องเสือเต้น). The ordination hall was only completed two years ago and so it is still relatively unknown among tourists. The name of the temple, “Suea Ten” translates literally as “dancing tiger”. The temple’s artwork is similar and just as fantastic as what can be found at the White Temple. But at this one, it is not only free to enter, but you can also take pictures inside the ordination hall. 

2. Chiang Rai’s elaborate golden clocktower (Hoh Nalika Chalerm Prakiat). It is a work of art and tourist attraction in its own right.  If you can time your visit for 7, 8 or 9pm you’ll also be treated to a light and sound show as the clock chimes the hour. The laser lights with musical accompaniment make for a surreal night-time scene as pick-up trucks, tuk-tuks and motorbikes continue to buzz around the clocktower as it changes in colour from gold to pink to green (source: google). Its the link video if you want to see how the color's changing.

3. Chiang Rai Night Market and Flower Festival. There's a lot of night market in Thailand. Chiang Rai also has its famous Night Market held every satuday night. It sells everything you need to buy, from food, clothes, and cute things. Near the night market of chiang rai, there are a flower festival full of flower and lamp. Luckily, we come at the place when there's a concert held there. Eventhough we dont know, who is singing and whats the meaning of the song- we enjoyyed it anyway.

4. Catcafe Chiang Rai. There's a cafe that let us chill with cat walking all arouund us. They have a lot of cute healthy cat, and all them are just too cute.
